A new love story...

Ruled by stye and ambition, romance today is quick and casual - love for the new generation is never having to say, "it's forever"...Like the fastfood they devour, courtship isnt about lingering and savouring..its about packaging and picking..Tommy Hilfigger, iPhone, Coke, Pizza and McLove are all brands in the great market place of life. Love is no longer an 'all-or nothing' thing in the age of threesome : I, me and myself !!!

As in the movies, so is life..this is a time when the youth makes up their minds fast, their moves faster. If someone whisks love's burger away from under their nose, they wait for the next one to be dishes out. Today everyone understands the codes of conduct - " no commitments, no promises". In a relationship today, we have to live 'for the moment'. The 'career' is more important that all these 'funny' things.. Relationships are often over by the first anniversary, now a days !!! ( Oh !!! thats for weeks, not even an year). Anyways it's fun while it lasts !!! Falling in and out of love every month is a good one ?

" Tu nahin to aur sahi, aur nahin to aur sahi' - If its not you, its someone else; if not someone else, it will be some other one...The age of classics is over. Now it's a love -'em and leave -'em generation. One thinks of a thousand things before falling for a guy. Besides compatibility, a guy should be able to provide her all the comforts that her parents provide her with - a car, good standard of living, and the freedom to think and work.. There really is no 'love @ first sight' because love is no longer and all-or-nothing thing...Personal growth is more important than love. My career and my life is more important than my love...Having a boyfriend or girlfriend is just like eating out...if you like one place, you go there a couple of times...when the familarity and monotonous food gives you boredom, you go in search of another place.
Now there are no long walks in the moon-light, cuddling endlessly under a shaded tree, looking into each others eyes for hours during a candle-light dinner..Many consummate now romance in their cars or have many more places to go to -dance bars, discos, bowling alleys, pubs, movie theatres and snooker joints.. Earlier romance was a hush-hush affair, now a 'rush-rush' affair. Now all that maatters is economic status and figures /looks. These days the youth dont want to get attached, rather they want to be free...

Many girls of today exist in a strange twilight zone between tradition and western ways. Everyone is trying to be somebody else. The girls' main aim is to have a good time, make the guy think about her for the rest of his life time...have the guy to do everything for her except sex. Now love is a symbol of status, and to get that, guys need to achieve or attain 'other status symbols' like iPhone, BMW , and above all these, a career which is promising .. Also tinted car can be used in places where you won't get a hotel-room to do the sex..:)!!!

Yesterday, love meant defying norms and mores..Exasperated with the dull permenance of arranged relationships, young people began to question authorities and values...Love for the new millenium generation is like their life - fast, furious and fatalistic..If you happen to fall in love, GOOD; if you dont,GREAT !!!Love is like a brand; pick it up for a price and wear it - only if it helps your image :) !!!
